This is in effect a compact course on Marte Meo, demonstrating the premises, basics and practical steps employed in this innovative method of counseling.Activating one´s own strengths to overcome problems and to support developmental processes represent the core ideas behind the method known as Marte Meo, literally ‘under own power.’ Christian Hawellek, one of the leading experts in Marte Meo, presents the basics of this counseling and therapy format, in particular the characteristic steps of setting up a contract, video observation, video interaction analysis, video counseling and follow-up video.
