This current book provides up-to-date research on the management, assessment and current challenges of coastal zones. Chapter One reviews the Coastal Area Management Programme (CAMP) of the Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP). Chapter Two introduces atypical example accounting for a comparative analysis between wetlands in Lebanon with different hydrology and aquifer characteristics.
