JOAN JANÉ is European Logistics Contract and Transportation Competence Center Manager for Hewlett-Packard EMEA. He has extensive experience in logistics, operations and supply-chain management, having held various management positions at HP in these areas. He is an Associate Professor of Logistics at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC). His recent research is focused on the performance of logistics alliances.
ALFONSO DE OCHOA is a lawyer located in Barcelona, Spain, where he specializes in maritime law, logistics and international litigation and arbitration. He is a member of a number of professional associations including the Barcelona Bar Association and the Spanish Association of Maritime Law. He frequently lectures on maritime law and is the author of numerous journal articles on maritime transportation, logistics contracts and related topics.
