Roger Dobson (1954-2013) was an English author, editor, and journalist. He was particularly interested in fantastic and horror fiction, especially the work of the Welsh author Arthur Machen. He edited John Gawsworth’s The Life of Arthur Machen (2005), and co-edited the Selected Letters of Machen (with Godfrey Brangham and R. A. Gilbert, 1988). His literary essays were collected in The Library of the Lost: In Search of Forgotten Authors (2015).
