Mina Farmanbar holds the position of Associate Professor in Computer Science at the University of Stavanger (Ui S), Norway. She has been an active researcher at Ui S and Akershus University Hospital since 2017. Notably, she is recognized among Norway’s top 100 women in the AI field, a testament to her impactful contributions and is currently a deputy leader of the Applied Intelligence and Emerging Technologies (AIx Tech) research group, at the University of Stavanger. She has been a program committee member of NORA – Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium since 2021. Her research interests span a wide range of topics within the field, including but not limited to data science, natural language processing, and machine learning applications.
Maria P. Tzamtzi is Professor of Automatic Control Systems, at the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), in Greece. She is currently the vice-head of the Department and a member of the Robotics, Automatic Control and Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory of NKUA. Dr. Tzamtzi has more than twenty years of teaching, at undergraduate and graduate level, as well as research experience in the areas of automatic control and robotics. She has authored several scientific publications in nonlinear control, industrial control, robot control and supervisory control.
Ajit Kumar Verma is a Professor at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Haugesund, Norway, since March 2012  and he was a Professor/Senior (HAG) scale Professor with the Reliability Engineering/ Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay for around 15 years with a research focus in reliability, risk & safety engineering and computational intelligence applications He has been associated with various Springer projects as an author/editor of books, series editor of many book series, patron/editor-in-chief of journals, guest edited over 12 special issues of various journals and has been on the editorial board of several journals.
Antorweep Chakravorty is a Professor in Computer Science at the University of Stavanger, Norway, presents a comprehensive research portfolio spanning diverse domains, including computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, data privacy, and blockchain. His impactful contributions extend across crucial sectors such as society, energy, healthcare, and oil & gas.
