Paul Anastas, Ph D, is the Teresa and H. John Heinz III Professor in the Practice of Chemistry for the Environment at Yale School of the Environment and director of the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale. He is the recipient of the 2021 Volvo Environment Prize and formerly served as the assistant administrator for the US Environmental Protection Agency.
