Ric Cheyney was born and raised in Cambridge, and worked as a college gyp and a bus driver before moving to Wales, where he taught English for 30 years. He is currently a woodland gardener, growing trees and wild flowers on five acres of land near Harlech. In Praise of Nahum Tate is his debut book.
