Sir Richard Claverhouse Jebb (1841–1905) was a British classical scholar and politician. Born in Scotland and educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, Jebb was a highly distinguished translator of classical languages, held a number of distinguished academic positions, and received an array of honorary degrees from European and American universities.
