Gopinathan Anilkumar, Ph D., is professor of organic chemistry at the School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, Kerala, India. His research interests are in the areas of organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry and catalysis, particularly on ruthenium-, iron-, zinc-, copper-, manganese-, cobalt- and nickel-catalyzed reactions.
