Sara Pizano, MA, DVM, was born in New York City in 1964 and raised in the mountains of Vermont and the Catskills. Dr. Pizano completed her veterinary degree at Cornell University in 1994 and has devoted her career to shelter medicine. Dr. Pizano resides in Florida and is an emergency and respite foster parent with 4KIDS of South Florida.
