Lindsey Vonn, geboren 1984 in Minnesota/USA, gilt als erfolgreichste Skirennläuferin der Geschichte. Sie war Olympiasiegerin, Weltmeisterin und gewann 20 World-Cup-Titel. 2019 trat sie vom aktiven Skirennsport zurück und ist seitdem u. a. als Fernsehexpertin tätig. Die von ihr gegründete Lindsey Vonn Foundation setzt sich für die Talentförderung junger Mädchen ein. Aufgrund jahrelanger Aufenthalte in Österreich spricht sie fließend Deutsch.
