Sanjib Bhattacharya (b. 1983) received his B. Pharm. from West Bengal University of Technology in 2005 and M. Pharm. form Dibrugarh University in 2007. Presently he is serving as Assistant Professor in Bengal School of Technology and pursuing his doctoral degree form Jadavpur University. His prime research interest has been pharmacological and toxicological assessment of indigenous medicinal plants with special emphasis on antitumor and antidiabetic activities. His recent research objective is to modify and optimize the existing experimental models and to develop the newer ones for toxicological studies and to correlate different toxicological properties of the same plant. He has authored 19 review and 74 research papers in different national and international journals; 3 chapters in books and 24 abstracts published in different national and international conferences and symposia. He has also been acting as regular paper reviewer of a number of national and international journals. He is the Life Member of Indian Pharmaceutical association (IPA), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), In Pharm Association, Pharmacognosy Network Worldwide (Phcog.Net), Society of Science Biology and Medicine (Scibiol Med.Org); Founder and Life Member of Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER); nominated as the Returning Member of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
