Marco Canani graduated in English Literature from the Università degli Studi di Milano, where he holds a PhD fellowship in English. He has read papers and published essays on John Keats, Charles Dickens, Vernon Lee and A. J. Cronin. His research project investigates issues of aesthetics and gender in the fin-de-siècle reception of the Italian Renaissance. He has published a book on the discourses of Hellenism in eighteenth and early nineteenth-century British literature and arts, titled Ellenismi britannici: L”ellenismo nella poesia, nelle arti e nella cultura britannica dagli augustei al romanticismo (2014).Sara Sullam studied in Milan, Berlin and Berkeley. She holds a degree in English and German and a PhD in English. She has written her MA thesis on Joyce and her PhD dissertation on Woolf, poetry and the novel. She has published on Joyce, Woolf, William Carlos Williams, and is vice-director of Enthymema, International journal of literary criticism, literary theory, and philosophy of literature. She is now a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Università degli Studi di Milano with a research project on the reception and translation of twentieth-century English literature in post-war Italy.
