Scott Gleeson is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University. He was a reporter for 12 years at USA TODAY, where he collected writing awards from The Associated Press, International Sports Press, USBWA and NLGJA, including “best national newswriting” in 2022 and “best worldwide color story” in 2015. As a sports journalist, he covered multiple NCAA Tournaments, Final Fours, NBA Drafts, and has been featured as a radio analyst on ESPN, NPR, CBS and NBC. He”s also a licensed clinical professional counselor in Chicago, with a psychology degree from Northwestern.
