Her research fields are international migration, family studies and longitudinal data collection and research. ebnem Erolu is Lecturer in Social Policy in the School for Policy Studies at the University of Bristol, UK. Her research fields are poverty, household livelihoods and international migration. Sait Bayrakdar is a Ph D candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Essex, UK. His research focuses on educational attainment of migrants and ethnic minorities and quantitative research methods. Efe K. Sözeri is a Ph D candidate in the Department of Sociology at the VU University Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and his research fields are social and political remittances of migrants and ethnic minorities. Niels Spierings is Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. His fields of interest are Islam, Middle East, economic and political participation and gender inequality.
