About the author

Shadia J. Ikhmayies earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Physics Department at the University of Jordan in 1983 and 1987, respectively. She completed her Ph.D. in producing Cd S/Cd Te thin-film photovoltaic solar cells from the same department and university in 2002. She has served as a faculty member in various Jordanian universities. Her research focuses on producing and characterizing semiconductor thin films and thin-film Cd S/Cd Te solar cells. Additionally, she works on computational characterization of various materials.
