Health promotion, nutrition, and quality of life issues are included as an essential part of any plan of care for older adults.

She was formerly an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner with Health Essentials Home Care in Las Vegas.
