She found, over the years, that many people need some basic understanding of what goes on behind the scenes of hospitals, nursing homes, and home care situations. The author has experience in all of these backgrounds. Responsibility starts at the top of the administration and goes all the way to the housekeeping staff. The care of anyone who needs it is really all of our responsibility. Knowledge of the basic function of the care at the bedside is a must in today’s changing healthcare picture.
