An MSE instructional series for working with Individuals and groups in multi-sensory environments, where experiential learning especially supports and benefits individuals with various challenges and difficulties. The series of training workbooks are presented in collaboration with worldwide colleagues by the author, teacher, facilitator, and practitioner of MSE training and direct support services, bringing insight, knowledge, and practical applications to professional interactions that cultivate quality-of-life outcomes.

Anthony (Tony) M. Mc Crovitz, Ph.D., is the executive director of Quality of Life Institute, Inc., a non-profit organization that offers collaborative learning opportunities, quality-of-life consultation, and customized training materials and resources for parents, teachers, and direct service providers whose interactions support individuals with various difficulties and their needs for specialized services. <br><br>His profession as a licensed mental health counselor and psychologist is grounded in clinical training, with specialization in child development and the integration of approaches that are rooted in holistic, bio-psychosocial models.<br><br>His life profession has revolved around advocating for individuals with disabilities in overcoming cultural and community barriers, mentoring the relationship-building framework of Gentle Teaching, creating sensory solutions for experiential learning in multi-sensory environments for addressing social-emotional development, creating resources, plans, and support services for improving the overall wellness and quality of life for both Individuals and their caregivers. <br><br>His Quality-of-Life Model™ of direct services was developed with the relationship-building principles and person-centered mentoring of Gentle Teaching. This relationship-mentoring model is integrated into all of his work with human services, as well as his development of training curriculum that contributes to his collaborative efforts with other organizations and professionals. <br><br>Anthony is dedicated to the sharing of knowledge and solutions for the sustainable development of inclusive, learning communities and resources, and to supporting processes of self-awareness and growth that have value and meaning for life and learning, and/or for professional development and practice. He is dedicated to serving others, and attributes this to the inspiration, demonstration, and collaboration of colleagues who form a global network for the advancement of quality-of-life solutions with MSE approaches and facilitation, with integrated practices of Gentle Teaching. In collaborative ventures with colleagues, he is a worldwide consultant and educator for basic and advanced training, skills and competencies used for experiential learning with educational, therapeutic, and relaxation goals in multi-sensory environments. He’s an active board member of the Gentle Teaching International community, the International Snoezelen-MSE Association <br>(ISNA-MSE.org), and the Institute of Multi-Sensory Environments (I-MSE.org).<br><br>In addition to offering comprehensive training and mentoring to families and professionals, he has held numerous, adjunct faculty positions to teach developmental psychology and lifespan coursework to both undergraduate and graduate students, at local colleges and universities.<br><br>He holds a doctorate in I/O Psychology from Walden University, a respecialization in Clinical Psychology from Adler Professional School of Psychology, an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a master’s degree in pastoral counseling from Loyola University of Chicago. He is a co-author of Anthony’s Backpack, A Child’s Journey into Gentleness (2010), and author of Return to Gentleness, Journeying with Gentle Teaching (2021).
