With so many books on the subject of biblical prophecy written by well-known scholarly men and women, why read another one written by a layman who has taught Bible fellowship classes for forty-plus years? As the author, it is my goal to present information concerning sources of prophetic expectations emphasized by most who write on this subject in such a way that anyone can see where these ideas originate on the pages of the Bible. For those with questions about whether prophecy is a fantasy coming from some creative writer, the basis of predicted coming events revealed in the Word of God are presented. I have attempted to use everyday language of average men and women that reveals the Bible as more than some ancient book. I received my formal training on the subject while a student at Baylor University. Depending on the Holy Spirit, I have immersed myself in personal study, with a significant portion of that time spent on biblical prophecy. The information presented is written in straightforward everyday language that I hope gives insight about a world of coming biblical events that even many church leaders avoid discussing.
