Eventually, Lu Yu became an official and gained recognition from Emperor Cao Rui of the Wei Dynasty due to his remarkable talent. When Emperor Cao Rui sought a suitable candidate for the position of Zhongshulang, he entrusted the task to Lu Yu and warned him against selecting someone with only a hollow reputation.
