This book explores various aspects of fire safety in the home. The first section is devoted to addressing the risks presented by cooking fires, as well as detailing the practices that are necessary to prevent the fires. Fires resulting from cooking continue to be the most common type of fire experienced by U.S. households, and they are also the leading cause of home fire injuries.
