The author, David Adam, is a fifth generation Louisianan who has been performing as a musician, professionally and semi-professionally, in south Louisiana for well over forty years and continues to entertain audiences with his musical talents and quick wit.
From his humble beginnings as the son of a fisherman in the little coastal town of Jean Lafitte, to an accomplished musician, composer and successful businessman, he has managed to overcome many adversities.
Because of his deep emotional ties to Louisiana, he felt compelled to publish his first book entitled, Tales From the Bayou. He also released a musical CD entitled, Still Livin Louisiana.
Both of his releases were well received by many and continue to delight readers and music lovers to this day.
His passion for southern culture has not diminished with the passing of time. This is one of the many reasons he has decided to release his latest novel, The House Across the Street.
