Dwight Jones is a first-time author writing A Black Journey in Tech in about 30 days. He continues to be a champion for the African American and Black (AAB) community as a co-chair for the Microsoft Digital Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) employee resource group. In addition to publishing this memoir, Dwight continues to meet with the local community, schools, leaders, and teams within Microsoft to not only share the impact of Blacks to technology but also, to drive awareness and action to help close the digital divide. Dwight also continues to stretch, learn, and grow his technical and leadership skills as a lead Program Manager supporting Microsoft”s Government Cloud presence. Where he helps drive improvements into Microsoft products and services on behalf of the employee & customer experience. In February 2022 Dwight received the Employee Experience Luminary Award. This top award for the organization, is a testament to what we can achieve for cross-team impact at Microsoft. Dwight received this award for his work with Skype for Business & Microsoft Teams
