This book mainly focuses on the investigation and research of universal reading in Shenzhen from 2022 to 2023. Dozens of authors have conducted research, discussions, and written reports from various aspects such as the general report, the special topic of "high-quality development", annual observations: reading integration and Bay Area construction, digital reading, juvenile reading, reading suggestions, and reading the world. Finally, they have been compiled and organized into a book. This book has been published annually since 2016 and routinely released during the 4.23 period each year. The book condenses the efforts of various districts, systems, research institutions, and social organizations in Shenzhen to create a new front in the field of universal reading research. It is an important source for studying universal reading in Shenzhen and provides a model for the creation of universal reading throughout the country.
