From the age of three Gillian knew that she wanted to be a Nurse. She practiced on her Granny; bandaging her legs and smearing them with ointment. Later, she qualified as a State Registered Nurse and had experience as a Theatre Sister, Ward Sister, Intensive Care Sister and District Nurse. She has a gift of caring for folk; elderly, needy people simply gravitate to her and there is always someone in the frame, even today.
