Författare: H. H. Munro

Hector Hugh Munro was born in 1870, and reared in England by imperious aunts while his parents were abroad. While living in Burma, he began writing fiction, which appeared in serialized form in a British gazette. To escape backlash from his scathing analysis of blundering by the British government during the Boer War, he took on the pen name Saki, derived from the Victorian fad work The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám.
