A story of faith and love, Pearl-Maiden follows the life of Miriam, a young Christian woman loved by both a Roman officer and a Jewish boy during the fall of Jerusalem. Brought to life in a way only fin-de-siecle writer H. Rider Haggard could, this historical fiction novel interweaves a sense of strength in one’s faith into the constant twists of adventure and romance.
