He is involved in rescuing his friends sister from drug traffickers and prostitution. It is a story of immense bravery and betrayal. The story line touches on many subjects including religion, domestic abuse, child abuse, cot death, terrorism, suicide and murder, but mostly it is a love story. There are striking parallels between the stories Charlie is told and what happens in the future. Could it all just be a dream?

The author lives in England where she has served for thirty years as a police officer. She has always been keen to try her hand at something more creative and this is her first attempt at a novel. Although this story is pure fiction she has been able to draw on some of her considerable experience from her past career to bring a sense of reality and impact to the plot.
