The accompanying chalk drawings serve only as backdrops to these stories, allowing the child to see events unfold in their own mind’s eye. These simple, magical stories follow a theme of kindness and nature. They have been put to written word so that you, the parent, may read them, tell them, act them out, and even add to them.

Jennifer Moore is a retired teacher, story-teller, grandmother and dabbler, (not necessarily in that order). A Chalk Walk Into the Enchanted Forest is her first children’s book. In it, she shares the chalk drawings, stories and puppet shows she created for the homeschooled play group she runs with her daughter. She lives with her husband in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
