The themes deal with relationships, breakups, pleasures, cravings, and pastimes. The artwork is primarily watercolors and pastels that have been shown in many galleries around the world. The short stories that accompany the paintings are sometimes emotional and sometimes quite fun. The combination is a feast for the eye and a tickle for the brain.

John Nieman is a multi-faceted creative person. His artwork has been exhibited in dozens of international galleries and several times at the Carousel de Louvre, Art Expo NY and Art Basel in Miami. He has written more than a dozen books, including novels, essays, short story collections, poetry and children’s books. The father of five, he lives in Westchester County, and in New York City.
