Lin Day has 44 years of professional experience in Psychology and Human Development. She has aided people of all ages, deepening her understanding of how to help others move beyond their own self-imposed limitations.
Lin is a certified bereavement and grief counselor, having studied death and dying with Elizabeth Kubler-Ross as well as interpretation of art with Gregg M. Furth in Escondido, California. Lin lived at Cornucopia in Kentucky and studied with Ken Keyes, author of several books, including his Handbook to Higher Consciousness.
Lin spent several years working with individuals suffering from chronic and persistent mental illness in psychiatric hospitals. and in the past 18 years worked for Macomb County Mental Health as a Case Manager/Social Worker. Her compassion for life is expressed in her love of all people and their growth.
Lin was often heard saying, ’When a client of mine is successful so am I.’The Macomb County Community Mental Health Board stated: ’For 18 years, Lin Day, has with a mix of good humor and passion, championed the interest and dignity of adults and children with mental illness and developmental disabilities who are served by MCCMH as a case manager.’Lin loves music and has been known to write and sing many of her own affirmations on her guitar. Lin meditates and prays daily, as both are very important to her.
Lin is a lover of nature, all of God’s children, animals, and all that life has to offer. She hopes this book may be helpful somehow.
