Louisa Anne Meredith (1812-1895) was a British-born Australian writer and illustrator whose work often reflects her passion for natural history and the landscapes she encountered. As a pioneering female figure in Australian literature, she played a vital role in documenting the early colonial environment and society through her keen eye, blending naturalist precision with enriching narrative elements.
