A Collection of Reflective and Devotional Spiritual
Studies
What if there was a such a thing as a toolbox that could help us work on our relationship
with God and others? Would you be interested? Our Spiritual journey is a ’work in
progress’ keeping it maintained and productive requires the right ’tools’ for the job.
Unless we intentionally pick up and apply each tool, they cannot be useful. Without
proper and well used Spiritual tools, our relationship are not as fulfilling.
Tools are essentials. the more we know about each tool the better it will work. It takes
commitment and dedication to using the tools that wil make changes in our lives. If we
are open to using a Christian toolbox; we will strengthen our relationship with God. The
job site of life is hard, these tools make doing the work possible.
this is the fourth book in the Mother In Love Series. we invite Jesus onto on the job site
of our hearts as we spend time learning the tools of the Christian trade. The blueprint
we will follow offers us scripture, personal stories, questions and reflective
contemplation.
If you’re ready, strap on that tool belt. It is time to punch in and get to work.
Remember, tools do not work if we are unwilling to use them.
Om författaren
Mary’s stories are taken from lessons she has been taught in life about the goodness of God. Her past struggles with an eating disorder inspired her to reach out with a message of hope that recovery is possible through faith. That time period of a personal battle brought about personal growth, physical healing, and a new spiritual awareness. The experiences that she and her family went through resulted in the blessing of starting her writing career. Mary published her first magazine article April 2006 and published her first book in January 2008, titled, How a Mess Became A Message.
Her passion is speaking about what God can do in a life. Mary uses the Bible as a daily tool and applies its teachings to her life. She has studied the Bible in seminary level classes since 2001 and is currently attending the Hatfield Bible Seminary Leap Education program. Small group Bible studies also have been apart of her background since 1993;providing her with the knowledge and Biblical understanding to write her devotions and reflective studies.
Mary has been married to her husband Tom since the age of 19. Together they have been blessed with a son and two daughters. The Barrett family lives in North Wales, Pennsylvania. Some of the hobbies they enjoy are camping in their RV, swimming, going to the beach, and visiting loved ones.
Currently, Mary is involved in the ’ Mother in Love’ conference series, based on her devotional books. She and her husband Tom are planting the seeds for a ministry they pray God will grow, named Titus 11:1 Ministries. The vision is to bring together all who seek a relationship with Lord using a variety of outreach methods.
