Ben McCann is Associate Professor of French Studies at the University of Adelaide, Australia. His main teaching and research focus is French cinema. He is the author of Ripping Open the Set: French Film Design 1930-1939 (2013) and Le Jour se lève (2013) and the co-editor of The Cinema of Michael Haneke (2011) and Framing French Culture (2015).
