Morey Menacker currently serves as Regional Medical Director for Centerwell, a value-based primary care group in Orlando, Florida. Centerwell is a wholly owned subsidiary of Humana, focusing on comprehensive care of the senior population utilizing a risk based model. Prior to his move to Florida, he served as vice president of Hackensack Meridian Health, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in New Jersey.
Dr. Menacker helped lead Hackensack Meridian Health’s population health strategy since joining the organization, serving as Director of Population Health at HUMC since 2013. He was Chair of Medicine at HUMC from 2015-16, prior to being recruited to network leadership. He served as the president and CEO of Hackensack Alliance ACO, from its inception in 2012 until 2019, when he moved to Florida. Under his leadership, Hackensack Alliance ACO has regularly been recognized as one of the top Medicare ACOs in the country. Dr. Menacker is also an accomplished author with many published articles in respected journals such as American Journal of Accountable Care and Health Management, and the American Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Menacker has always had a passion for population health. He completed his residency in internal medicine at UMDNJ in Newark, New Jersey, where he later served as its Chief Medical Resident. He then went on to serve two years in the United States Public Health Service where he helped care for migrant farm workers before serving as the Director of Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Vice President of Medical Affairs, at Bergen Pines County Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey.
Dr. Menacker received his B.A in biology from La Salle College in Philadelphia and his doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
