She has couple of patent under her name, She has a main interest in Synthesis of Natural Products, Polymer Chemistry, Stereochemistry In vitro enhancement of Secondary metabolites, Virology and Animal cell culture etc. A life member of Indian Science Congress, and State level Chairperson of Medicinal Chemistry at Women Economic Forum, Dr Mishra has also done her MBA from Mumbai University, She is also recognized teacher of Mumbai University for Ph D degree. She is also a member of the editorial board in Acta Scientific of Microbiology and other international journals.
