The Lord ordained prophets throughout Israel’s rebellious history to serve as His messengers. These mighty men of God were used as His mouthpiece to give words of warning, encouragement, rebuke, and direction. When Judah was exiled to Babylon, due to their disobedience, the Lord did not leave them without hope. They witnessed the mighty works of His hands through prophets like Daniel, who was uncompromised in his faithfulness to the Lord. Daniel is an example of how believers should remain loyal in serving the Lord despite the circumstances, tests, and trials that come their way. The book of Daniel testifies to the greatness of God over kingdoms, people, and nations, for only His kingdom will last forever. In this first lesson of Daniel: Dreams, Visions, and the End Times, we will learn about the boldness of Daniel and his three friends. They had been taken to a foreign land, and all they had ever known had been left behind. Nevertheless, they continued to serve the One True God, and He blessed their faithfulness.
