Rodrigo Hasbún is a Bolivian novelist of Palestinian descent born in 1981. He is the author of two novels and a collection of short stories. In 2007 he was selected by the Hay Festival as one of the Bogot‡ 39, and in 2010 he was chosen as one of Granta's Twenty Best Spanish writers under the age of 35. His work recently appeared in the Latin American issue of Mc Sweeney's, edited by Daniel Galera. Affections is his second novel and will be published in 10 languages.
