Oilseed brassicas are among the largest traded agricultural commodities and are grown in around fifty countries worldwide. Dr. Prabhu Dayal Meena is Principal Scientist (Plant Pathology) at ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. He has conducted research on different aspects of rapeseed-mustard diseases, including host resistance, management, epidemiology, biology of crucifer’s pathogens and also reported three new pathogens of rapeseed-mustard. He has been associated in the development of six high yielding varieties and registered seven traits of specific genotypes of rapeseed-mustard. He has published over 120 research papers, reviews, book chapters and several books.
