Polymers have significantly influenced almost all domains of materials’ applications. Immense developments in the technological aspects related to polymeric systems in the recent years have further reinforced the position of polymers in a wide variety of specific applications. The advancements allow further control on structure-property correlations of polymers, thus, helping to attain polymers of specific property profiles suitable for particular requirements. This book provides insights about technological advances in material development, properties and performance evaluation of different commercially relevant polymer systems. The book is a one-stop ready reference text for polymer, materials and mechanical engineers, as well as plastics technologists. It is equally beneficial for practicing scientists, academicians and industrial researchers. The book is also a useful text for the postgraduate university students in polymer, materials, chemical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
