Dr. Chris Hemler has served as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and as an assistant professor of history at the U.S. Naval Academy. His research and teaching interests include U.S. Marine Corps amphibious operations, military innovation/adaptation, and 20th-century American military history. He earned his Ph D from Texas A&M University in 2021.
