Danny Mac Askill, 1985 in Schottland geboren, wurde 2009 mit dem fünfeinhalbminütigen Internetvideo »Inspired Bicycles« innerhalb weniger Stunden zum Star der Bike-Trial-Szene. Daraufhin gab er seinen Beruf als Fahrradmechaniker auf, und es folgten weitere Videoclips, u.a. »Imaginate«, »The Ridge«, »Cascadia« und zuletzt »Home of Trails«. Er ist weltweit mit seiner »Drop and Roll«-Tour unterwegs.
