David T. Ives is the Executive Director of the Albert Schweitzer Institute at Quinnipiac University and an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy, Political Science, Latin American Studies, and International Business. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Albert Schweitzer Association and a member of the Council of Advisors for World Centers of Compassion for Children sponsored by the 1976 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Betty Williams.David A. Valone is an Assistant Professor of History at Quinnipiac University. His areas of research include nineteenth century British and Irish history as well as the history of science and medicine.
