My name is Denise. I am an educator, wife, mother to four adult children, and grandmother (Nina) to eleven. I wrote this story because it is a happy memory that brings a smile to my face. I hope it reminds us to love what we do and do what we love with the same imagination and awe of a child. It is a familiar story of childhood and the excitement and anticipation that each day brings.
