Dr. Douglas Wilde Ph.D. grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney – the heartland of working-class rugby league in the 1960s. With a league history spanning 54 years (starting at age 11) – including representing the Australian Army v Wales in 1978. Douglas has the necessary experience and passion for our great game to back up his tipping expertise. Dr. Wilde is a Patron of League Freak and The Rugby League Project. For over 30 years he has given back to the game as a coach, a club president, and an administrator – including being a past Chairman of the South Australian Rugby League. Douglas is an author and internet commentator. Since 2015, he has progressively honed his tipping proficiency. He has become a noted tipster by combining weather forecasts, statistics, daily team updates, and other data to refine his tipping methodology.
