She was formerly Professor in Cultural History, Department of History at the University of Turin, Italy. Sigrid Kaasik-Krogerus is Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Music,  Art and Culture Studies at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Iris van Huis (Ph D) is Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences, Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
