Jim DeBrosse, Ph.D, is an author and veteran journalist who has been named Ohio”s Best Reporter (SPJ, 2001), Best Feature Writer (AP, 2004) and Best Columnist (SPJ, 2006; AP, 2007) and has won awards from the National Press Club, Education Writers Association and Military Reporters and Editors. Jim DeBrosse, Ph.D, is a veteran journalist, author and graduate of Ohio University”s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. A former enterprise reporter and columnist for the Dayton Daily News, he has been named Ohio”s Best Reporter (SPJ, 2001), Best Feature Writer (AP, 2004) and Best Columnist (SPJ, 2006; AP, 2007) and has won awards from the National Press Club, Education Writers Association and Military Reporters and Editors. He is the author of four books – The Secret in Building 26, a non-fiction history of World War II code breaking, as well as the three-volume Rick Decker mystery series set in Cincinnati.
