Pamela S. Lassiter, Ph D, is an Associate Professor of Counseling in the Department of Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has over thirty years of work experience in substance abuse treatment and community mental health. Dr. Lassiter holds credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. She serves as Director of the Addictions Program at UNC Charlotte and teaches graduate courses in addiction and mental health counseling. She is also a past President of IAAOC and currently the Associate Editor of the Journal of Addiction and Offender Counseling.
