K.V. Sundaram is Founder & Chairman of Bhoovigyan Vikas Foundation, dealing with earth-care policies, tuned to the Third World Countries. He was former Chief Technical Adviser FAO/UN and had worked with the Indian Planning Commission and UN Organisations on various prestigious regional and local-level planning projects in India and other Asian and African countries. He was conferred D. Litt degree for his published work from the University of Mysore (1977) and a Senior Nuffield Fellowship from UK (1978-79) for his post-doctoral work in the Centre of South Asian Studies, University of Cambridge (UK). His publications include 15 books and more than 160 research papers. His technical expertise covers urban and regional planning, rural area development, multilevel planning, eco-development and human resources development. M. Moni is a senior technocrat of National Informatics Centre (Government of India), currently working as its Deputy Director General. With more than 24 years of professional experience, he has held several prestigious assignments including sharing important responsibilities as Principal Systems Analyst to the Former Finance Minister of India during 1985-88. He pioneered to establish the District Information System of National Informatics Centre (DISNIC) in the 520 districts of India during 1987-96. He is currently leading the Group for formulating ICT Plans for increasing productivity in Agriculture and Allied sectors and Water Resources Development. He is the author of more than 20 technical reports and a number of research papers. He is also the Secretary General of the Bhoovigyan Vikas Foundation. Mrityunjay Mohan Jha is a Fellow with the Bhoovigyan Vikas Foundation, New Delhi, and is dealing with issues pertaining to food security, land use and participatory planning. He was awarded with the Senior Research Fellowship of the University Grants Commission during 1993-98. He has authored a book on Food Security: Dynamics and Dimensions, besides some research papers on population, food security, land use dynamics and primary education.
